Proudly Your One Stop Shop Since 1986!

The Story Behind Trophy & Sign Center

From a Small Shop on Main Street to a Full-Service Branding Powerhouse

On January 28, 1986, Tommy Hundley purchased an existing trophy shop and renamed it The Trophy Center, originally located at 1011 West Main Street. Starting with trophies, plaques, and plastic signs, Tommy quickly built a reputation for quality and service. As demand grew, so did the need for more space and a larger team.

Eventually, the shop moved next door to 1015 West Main Street, where Tommy introduced a laser engraver and vinyl plotter to better serve his customers. Continued growth led to another move—this time to 123 Wooding Avenue—allowing room for more equipment, including a wide-format digital printer and embroidery machines. At its peak during this period, the team grew to eight employees.

Following a decline in Tommy’s health, his son Eddie and Kim stepped in to carry on the family legacy. On September 1, 2013, they relocated the business once more—this time to its current home at 199 Sandy Court.

The Method Behind The Madness

Under Eddie and Kim’s leadership, Trophy & Sign Center transformed into a full-service branding hub, expanding with additional digital and flatbed printers, laser engravers, apparel printing equipment, and even a bucket truck. And of course, the team wouldn’t be complete without the beloved shop dogs, Bama and Allei B.
